Phone Service, VOIP, Wireless Phone Service, Long
Distance, Digital TV, Broadband Internet
Company Overview: Qwest was founded in 1997. They have
over 50,000 employees throughout the nation. In 2006,
their profit exceeded $500 million. They are a full
service phone company, offering many digital
communication services to their customers
Our Review: Qwest is more interested in what they offer
the consumer than what you’re purchasing from them. This
is always a good quality to find in a phone company.
They have tons of services and options for consumers,
and a great customer service team. They seem really
consumer oriented, which is always nice.
User Review: Qwest is one of the best phone companies
I’ve ever found. They offer comprehensive service for my
internet, phone, and television, and didn’t pressure me
into anything at any point. Since I’ve signed up for
their service, I’ve had a few minor issues, but they’re
always resolved immediately.

Company Overview: One of the first prepaid wireless
companies, TracFone was established in 1997. America
Movil owns TracFone, and they are one of the biggest
phone companies in the country. They’ve got over 140
million subscribers to date.
Our Review: TracFone is one of the best prepaid wireless
phone companies. They offer a very simple service to
consumers: you buy the phone, then buy the minutes as
you need them. No strings attached, no contracts, no
fine print. Their customer service team is helpful, and
their website is informative and functional.
User Review: I got a TracFone about a year ago, and I
love it. It’s the best option for me because I don’t use
my wireless phone a lot, but I like to have one just in
case. They are probably one of the best phone companies
I’ve ever worked with. They’re helpful, friendly, and
their services are great. |

Services Offered; VOIP Digital
Phone Service
Company Overview: Lingo is owned by Primus
Telecommunications Group, which is a Fortune 1000
company, and was established in 1994. They began
offering internet phone services in 1999, and they
generate almost 2 billion minutes phone traffic every
year.
Our Review: Lingo is a great company. They offer
information first, and services second. They’re not
focused on selling you something like most companies
are. They are more interested in ensuring that you
understand what you’re getting into when signing up for
a service like VOIP. Their website is functional and
informational, and their customer service is exemplary.
User Review: Lingo helped me get VOIP phone service
quickly and at an affordable cost. They even helped me
to understand it better, because I wasn’t completely
sure what I was getting into. Lingo is one of the
friendliest, most helpful phone companies I’ve ever
found. |

How To Select The Best Company For Phone Companies |
|
Finding the
right phone company is fully dependent on what type of
phone service you are looking for. Many phone companies
offer package deals as far as phone and internet
services. However, there are some companies that still
only provide home phone service or only provide cell
phone service. In today's economy, it is often a better
cost to the consumer to get one of these package combos
from phone companies. If you are only looking for one
service, it may be in your best interest to consider
contacting the company that provides your other
communications services. This way, you will receive the
cheapest available rates by combining your services.
However, if you don't have any current communications
services, choosing the right company will be a matter of
personal preference, along with what service you are
looking for. Some consumers, for example, who are
looking for cell phone service, want to use prepaid
phone companies because they don't want the hassle of
having a contract and a monthly bill, while other
consumers who want cell phone service might prefer the
security that comes with having a calling plan. Also, it
is important to determine what you need in the way of
phone service, and which company can provide those
services to you at the lowest cost. However, it is not
always the lowest cost that matters. You might find a
company that offers the lowest price for phone service,
but their customer service might not be up to par. So
you need to ensure when searching for phone companies
that you check out all facets of the companies you are
considering buying services from. This way you will get
a phone service that works for you and will have peace
of mind in your communications provider. As long as you
are aware of what you are looking for and are willing to
shop around, choosing one of the many phone companies
for your needs doesn't have to be a difficult task.
